For over 50 years the Irish Veterinary Journal has been the official voice of the veterinary profession in Ireland. Since its foundation in 1947, it has been a forum for debate, discussion and the dissemination of relevant information to Irish vets.
Published monthly in a colour A4 magazine format by IFP Media, The Irish Veterinary Journal (incorporating Irish Veterinary Times) is the official publication of Veterinary Ireland.
The presentation of new scientific research papers, and a commitment to providing topical and relevant information to the profession in the areas of continuing professional development and business, form the Journal’s cornerstone. The Journal also sees its remit in reflecting and respecting the richness and diversity of interests and opinions within the profession itself.
At a time of far reaching and sometimes complex change, the Journal offers both an invaluable information resource and an opportunity for the profession to reflect on its role and on relationships both within the profession and with the wider world.
